Doechii’s Tonight Show Performance is A Must Watch

On Wednesday night (5/18). rapper & singer, Doechii aka The Swamp Princess herself made her late night debut as she performed on The Tonight Show.
I wasn’t able to watch the performance live, but a full video of her performance happened to come across my timeline. And I was drawn in from the very first few seconds. The Tampa native’s out-of-the-box yet fierce and fresh style is entertaining to say the least.
The TDE-signed-artist performed a medley of her newest singles “Persuasive” and “Crazy”. Lyrically, the songs are great and very up tempo, which could make it easy for any performer to fall out of rhythm and lose their breath. But her energy level was extremely high, her bars were crisp, and she definitely proved that she knows how to work a stage and a crowd.
I knew of Doechii and had seen a few things here and there before (including this TikTok of her rapping that I couldn’t stop watching), but this performance made me check for her even more. It won’t be long before I’m a huge fan. I’m hopping on the train now before she blows up (on a mainstream level), as I’m sure she will very, very soon.
